About the Course

This is a comprehensive course designed to equip professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to support incarcerated youth effectively. The curriculum combines theory with practical applications, preparing learners to address the unique challenges of correctional education and rehabilitation. The course includes 10 core modules covering soft skills development, adolescent psychology, technology integration, trauma-informed practices, communication, professional development, legal frameworks, crisis management, cultural competence, and restorative practices. These modules provide a balanced approach to building interpersonal, technical, and professional expertise. By completing this course, learners will develop competencies in empathy, conflict resolution, trauma-informed care, and collaborative communication. They will learn to apply restorative justice strategies, navigate legal and procedural standards, and manage crises in correctional settings. The curriculum emphasizes cultural sensitivity, fostering inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.Aligned with frameworks like EQAVET, ESCO, and DigiComp, this course supports professional development and career advancement in correctional education, social work, and related fields. It offers transferable skills recognized across European labor markets, preparing participants for impactful roles in education, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams.
